Specializes in teaching managers the keys to building strong newsroom cultures and systems. Develops the coaching skills of print, broadcast, and online leaders, so they can cultivate high-performing journalists. Helps break down barriers between colleagues by cultivating the missing ingredient in many newsrooms: effective communication. Approaches her teaching with passion, humanity, and humor. Also teaches writing coaching, powerful reporting, and ethical decision-making. Authors practical, useful articles for journalism publications to help managers become genuine leaders.
